experimenting with litestep. spent the whole day learning how to theme. actual desktop is 1680x1050 on an acer 22" WS.

the wallpaper is of manhattan. i did not take it, and i do not know who to give credit to, since it is from a torrent pack.

i'll explain the taskbar from right to left;

the two icons for photoshop and firefox are the currently running processes. as more are added, they get closer together to fill in the space.

the next text over is general system info. right now it displays my free space on my three hd's, as well as current download speed.

when you click on the date, it turns into a run... dialog. you can bring up windows processes such as "taskmgr" or "cmd", as well as !bang commands and environment variables. i can also search the internet with it.

to the right of the date is a scrolling winamp title bar. if you click on it, winamp will display or hide. if you run your mouse wheel over it, it will go forward or back one song.

to the right of that... my system tray icons.
